Here's a video from Jack's (mini) 18-month Birthday party...he's talking SO MUCH these days...and after singing "Happy Birthday" to him, he started saying "Happy Bir-day!"(melt)

And towards the end of this video, Uncle JJ wants "knucks" from Jack, but Jack is so unwilling to let go of his precious cupcake...that he simply offers JJ his elbow..."Oh Jack, throw them bows!"

What does Nani say?

Jack is so smart! He knows what so many animals "say": doggy ("arf, arf!"), ducky ("wack, wack!") , monkey ("who-who-ee-ee!"), birdie ("tweet-tweet!")...but he also knows what Nani says: "No, no, no"...in the most loving way possible!

Feel Good Friday…

There is nothing better than a compliment of your child. And I got one this morning that totally made my Friday!

When I dropped Jack off at daycare this morning, his teacher couldn’t say enough good things about him! She said he’s such a big boy, and he’s so good…he’s such a good eater and plays well with all his friends…he loves to play with his cars and go, “Vroom-vroom!” (especially his special yellow one)…he learns so well and he’s just doing wonderfully in the “Big Boy Room”! She said he’s such a good, big boy! (It's hard to have to leave him everyday, but I love his daycare...)

I obviously think he’s just the best thing in the whole wide world, but it’s nice to know that other’s think he’s pretty special as well.

I’m still beaming from these kind words! I'm so proud of my little man!

Future Cardinal...

Jack has been warming up his throwing arm, and with the help of his trainer (Daddy), he'll be ready to go for Spring Training 2027! Here he is showing off his skills...notice the "two-armed throw". Look out Pujols...Greffet's gunning for your job!

Here we have little Jack giving kisses! He'll kiss anyone/anything he can...and we think that his experience with dogs has taught him to kiss with his tongue hanging out! We're trying to rid his of that habit, but for now, it's just so darn cute (albeit slobbery)!

Video crazy

So in making up for lost time, I've added some videos of Mr. Jack...'cause we're just crazy about this little man!

This first one was taken at dinner the other night: Jack is learning to play "Peek-a-boo" and towards the end he's showing off how Aunt Carey taught him to do "earmuffs"! He'll need to know that with her mouth!

The next one is our little daredevil: he loves his trucks...BUT he's learning that he can climb on top of the trucks. Enjoy this clip and notice what a tough little man he is—falling down and getting right back up!
