Lila & Ava

Can you see the cousin resemblance? The nose...the eyes...the cheeks and chin?! There's def. the Greffet side coming out when I see Lila with her cousin Ava...

But it's strange because Lila also looks exactly like how my sister looked as a baby...once while holding Lila, my sister even received the compliment, "Well you've got one that looks just like you!" (jeal)

So I can't say with certainty exactly where Lila gets her good looks from...but when that little girl smiles...my goodness it lights up the room...and Jack, well, he's just a miniature version of my dad...except with hair...

We're back...

After a fun filled week complete with cousin-love, family bonding, fishing (with real worms), riding rides, jumping on beds, and adventures galore, we are home. Our bags might still be packed, and we might be running on the bare BARE minimum as far as groceries, but we are home. And I know two cousins who are already missing eachother...


I wonder how long we can live off canned veggies and frozen pizzas...without clean clothes...and unedited pictures...I'll be back with answers (and pictures).

Off to Kansas City!

We're off to Kansas City for the weekend for Jim to celebrate his birthday. Pssst: He's OLD! :)

What a treat, because Ms. Ava came in to visit Jack last weekend...soon they'll start thinking cross-state traveling is a weekly habit! Anyway, we're looking forward to a lot of cousin-love time, like...

playing pretend...

and laying in bed...

and hugs that make us laugh so much...

funny faces...

and sweet breakfast dates...

bath time adventures...

and most of all hugs that smoosh our faces!

We'll be back with (hopefully) good stories and even better pictures!

Tub Time!

Jack and Ava finally got to play in the tub together (Jack was a little intimidated by the massive tub at Grandpa's on our last attempt)! And of course, I took plenty of pictures to use as embarrassment for years to come...but c'mon: they're too cute!

The best part was when I told Jack to give Ava a kiss...her face is priceless!

Cousin Love

Fair Warning: This post is chock-full of pictures of Jack and Ava...we pretty much think they are the best thing in the whole wide world! They were so cute together and had such a fun time playing...ah, cousin love...
